Honda Jazz 2011

Kabar yang mengatakan Honda sedang mempersiapkan sebuah Fit/Jazz bertubuh bongsor ternyata terbukti. Produsen Jepang ini memang akan mengeluarkan mobil Jazz bermodel wagon dan akan segera diluncurkan.

Honda bahkan sudah meluncurkan sebuah website khusus untuk memperkenalkan mobil terbaru mereka yang dinamakan all-new compact Fit Shuttle ini. Di website tersebut terungkap wajah Fit/Jazz dalam bentuk wagon dan pengumuman bertuliskan 'COMING SOON'.

Menurut jadwal yang tertera di website tersebut Honda Fit Shuttle akan
diluncurkan pada bulan Maret 2011 mendatang. Dan yang menjadi kejutan, mobil ini akan datang dalam dua versi.

Versi pertama mobil ini akan datang dengan dual mesin alias hybrid. Sementara versi kedua akan hadir dengan mesin konvensional.

Untuk versi hybrid, Honda Fit Shuttle akan datang dengan teknologi IMA dan
disokong mesin i-VTEC 1.3 liter yang sama dengan yang digunakan versi hatchback (Fit/Jazz).

Sedangkan satu versi lain akan disokong mesin berkapasitas sedikit lebih besar yakni 1.5 liter i-VTEC dengan transmisi CVT, 4WD dan dengan transmisi otomatis.

Honda Insight LX 2010

Honda appears finally to have learned how to play in the hybrid game. Simply putting a hybrid powertrain in a regular car doesn't cut it. If a carmaker wants to be taken seriously, it had better deliver a hybrid that looks like what the market has said it wants a hybrid to look like. And that, apparently, given the sales numbers, is a Toyota Prius. Hence, the all-new, Honda Insight is virtually a carbon copy of that market leader.

Honda Fred 2009 Compact Minivan Good Looking

Perusahaan otomotif Honda belum lama ini mereka meluncurkan model compact minivan terbarunya, Honda Freed 2009. Mobil yang didesain berdasarkan model Honda Jazz/Fit 2009 ini diklaim siap meramaikan pasar mini SUV di kelasnya.

Honda Freed secara keseluruhan memiliki dimensi lebar yang kurang lebih sama dengan Honda Jazz, yaitu sekitar 1,655 mm. Tapi untuk panjangnya, mobil ini mengalami sedikit peningkatan yaitu 4,215 mm (Jazz-3,900 mm) dan dari segi tinggi mencapai 2,740 mm. Untuk sektor tenaga, Honda Freed ditopang mesin 1.5-liter VTEC 4 silinder yang dipasangkan dengan transmisi otomatis 5 percepatan atau transmisi CVT dan mampu mengeluarkan daya sebesar 120 hp.

Teknologi CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) saat ini memang makin banyak digunakan oleh industri otomotif dunia. CVT sendiri adalah sistem transmisi tanpa gigi yang prinsip kerjanya memanfaatkan perubahan diameter antara pulley penggerak (driver pulley) dan pulley yang digerakkan (driven pulley). Oleh sebab itu, CVT mampu menyalurkan daya dari mesin ke roda secara berkesinambungan sehingga perubahan rasio jadi tidak terbatas secara progresif diantara harga rasio minimum dan maksimum. Penggunaan CVT pada mobil Freed memang diadopsi Honda untuk menghadapi tantangan perkembangan teknologi saat ini.



Untuk bagian eksterior, Honda Freed memang mirip dengan Honda Jazz/Fit. Namun pada Honda Freed, pintu penumpang sudah dibuat dengan model geser di kedua sisinya. Garis garis tegas juga tampak kental mengikuti alur body agar memiliki kesan dinamis. Sedangkan bagian interior, mobil ini hadir dengan 3 varian yaitu kursi 7 penumpang dengan fitur kursi baris kedua model captain, kursi 8 penumpang, dan yang terakhir adalah model kursi 5 penumpang namun dengan bagasi yang lebih besar.





Di Jepang, Honda Freed ditawarkan dengan tiga versi, 5-seater dengan bagasi besar, 7-seater dan 8-seater dijual dengan harga sekitar Rp 178,6 juta. Tentu saja, dengan harga seperti itu dan spesifikasi yang sesuai dengan kriteria konsumen otomotif di Indonesia, Freed akan menggilas habis kompetitornya.

All New Honda City

Inilah Honda City generasi ke-3 yang diberi nama “All-New City”. Resmi dijual ke publik sejak 10 September lalu. Thailand merupakan negara pertama yang meluncurkan All-New City. Karena memang di Negara Gajah Putih itulah All New City diproduksi. Negara berikutnya adalah India.

Sedangkan di Indonesia PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) baru memperkenalkan secara resmi All New City hari Kamis (27/11) kemarin, di Jakarta. Honda sebenarnya sudah pernah memajang All New City ini pada acara Indonesia Consumunity Expo (ICE) 8-9 November 2008 lalu. Namun peluncuran baru dilakukan Kamis (27/11).

Model baru ini akan mengikuti menggunakan platform dan mesin yang sama dengan yang digunakan Honda Jazz. Nantinya tak ada lagi varian mesin IDSI dan VTEC seperti sebelumnya. All New City akan menggunakan satu model mesin yaitu i-VTEC namun dengan kapasitas yang sama 1.5 liter. Sedan andalan Honda ini tersedia dalam transimisi otomatis lima percepatan dan manual. Tampilan All New City juga memiliki kemiripan dengan Honda Accord baru dan Honda Jazz. Sedangkan bagian interior sebagian besar mirip Jazz dengan beberapa perbedaan detail.

Sedangkan untuk harga diperkirakan akan lebih mahal dari empat varian lama yang berada di kisaran Rp 186-201 juta. City baru akan dilansir di harga sekitar Rp 210 juta.
